Private Tuition

Enjoy Languages offers private tuition in French, German, Spanish and ESOL to learners of all ages and abilities.

Want your little one(s) to learn a language? We have experience in teaching young children both at schools and via private tuition. We find that 30-40 minutes a week is a good amount of time and pack it full of games, songs and role-plays to make the learning fun.

Want to improve on a predicted exam grade? Having taught GCSE, A1 and A2 courses to students of all different abilities, we have the experience and knowledge of several exam boards to help you raise your grade. We can practice a mixture of Listening, Speaking, Reading, or Writing activities or we can concentrate on just one particular skill.  Naturally, we are fully knowledgeable about the new GCSE course for 2018 and have access to practice materials.

Going on holiday? We can offer lessons covering the most valuable phrases to give you confidence eating-out, shopping, finding your way around and making a good impression with the locals. Classes can be on a one-to-one basis, for couples or groups of up to 4 children / adults.

Planning on working and living abroad? We can help you tackle the grammar and vocabulary essential to help you integrate more easily and confidently.

Or if you simply want to learn a new skill, we can tailor-design a course covering vocabulary and topics of personal interest to you.

No matter your reason to learn, classes will make use of a variety of engaging and enjoyable activities.

What areas do we cover? We are based in South Oxfordshire covering areas such as Oxford, Abingdon and Didcot.

What do we charge? Lessons depend on your level and where you would like the tuition to take place, so please contact us for a competitive quote.

Testimonials

"Having struggled with my GCSE French, I sought help from Lorraine at Enjoy Languages. Since being taught by Lorraine, I have reached my target grade and my writing and speaking is much more fluent. I really look forward to lessons with Lorraine as they are very enjoyable - and I am even enjoying French more at school." Jamie Pitman, GCSE French student.

"Lorraine has been an absolutely wonderful teacher to the children and they really look forward to their French lessons. Lorraine is very enthusiastic and engages really well with the children. She makes the learning fun and enjoyable so the children don't realise they are being taught. They are really enjoying the French language thanks to Lorraine." Celia Scanlan, mother to Ben (aged 7) and Esme (aged 5).

"Even though we have only been with Lorraine for a few months, the difference has been very noticeable. On a recent visit to France we were complimented several times on our French language skills which was a testament to our progress so far and was also very rewarding at the same time...We believe that language is key to successful integration, and this is where Lorraine comes in, helping us both acquire the necessary language skills through engaging, interesting and enjoyable private lessons once every two weeks. Thanks Lorraine!" Mark and Pam, Intermediate and Post-Intermediate French students intending to emigrate to France.
