 My name is Lorraine Watson-Parris and I run Enjoy Languages. Two of my biggest passions in life are teaching and languages and so running my own language classes is an absolute pleasure.
Getting here hasn’t come without hard work. I graduated from university in 2003 with a 2:1 languages degree – during which I also had a fantastic time working as a waitress in Disneyland Paris, a kitchen aide in a French language school in the Cote d’Azur and as an English assistant in a Luxembourg secondary school. I then went on to complete the PGCE teaching qualification in Modern Foreign Languages and recently I completed the Trinity Certificate in TESOL which has given me the skills to teach English to Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL).
As well as these qualifications I have five and half years experience of teaching languages in a couple of different secondary schools and for a few years I simultaneously taught classes of adults via regional adult education centres. Furthermore, for a short while, I also worked self-employed teaching languages in Primary schools both formally in regular school lesson time and informally in after-school fun clubs.
