Saturday Botley Family Club

The Saturday morning Family Club is one of several Bonjour Lulu Clubs for children. For an introduction to
the Bonjour Lulu Clubs in general, please click here. Otherwise, if you know what it's all about then read on...

The Saturday Family Club is very much a family session for adults and children of all ages, but is primarily aimed at children from age 2 to about 6.  It is a great way for families to share the experience of learning French together.

When does the Family Club run?
This club takes place on a fortnightly basis and runs on a 6 or 7 session basis which works out nicely as one school term.

The new term will start on Saturday 5th October 2019 and will run every other Saturday continuously thereafter.

Where is the club?
The club takes place at the Rosary Room on Yarnells Hill in Botley (OX2 9BD). It is
located next to Our Lady of the Rosary RC Church with plenty of parking available.

French Breakfast
In addition to learning French, families are invited to come along for a French breakfast. It is a great way of getting to know the other people attending the group, not to mention the lovely treat to have a croissant and a coffee! We just ask for a £1 voluntary contribution per family to help cover the cost of this breakfast.

Timings
Due to the popularity of this club, there are two sessions which are both the same in content:

9.30 -10.00 French Session 1
10.00 - 10.15 French breakfast for families attending Session 1

10.15- 10.30 French Breakfast for families attending Session 2
10.30 - 11.00 French Session 2

Sept - Dec Term dates

How much is the club?
The cost per session is £6 for one child, £8 for two children and £12 for three children which is payable upfront . However we do offer a free trial at your first session! After this, if you and your little one have liked the club, we ask for an up-front payment for the remainder of the term. Paying in advance like this guarantees your place in the group and also ensures your child receives the accompanying activity sheet for each session whether they attend or not.

New Teacher for October 2019
This Saturday club is now going to be run by a lovely lady called Myriam. Myriam is a native French speaker and mum of two young children so very much in-tune with language learning and young children. Moreover, Myriam has experience of tutoring small groups of primary-aged children and is very enthusiastic about getting into teaching younger children. Myriam will be running the club under my guidance including using my well established Bonjour Lulu Scheme. Natually, Myriam has a recent DBS certificate.
